Health and Wellness
Health is more than simple medical coverage for you and your family. It’s about holistic wellness. We offer two medical plans as well as dental and vision coverage. You can be sure you and your family are covered. Further, we have a variety of tax-shielding instruments such as Health Savings Account (HSA), Flex Spending Account (FSA), and Dependent Care Flex Spending Accounts. These instruments help you plan and pay for the care you need. We also cover you and your family with short-term and long-term disability, life insurance, AD&D insurance, and voluntary life insurance coverage. Your health is our top priority.

Relax and Replenish
Everyone at Aptevo is passionate about their work. We know that sometimes that passion can take a lot out of you. At Aptevo, we are big believers in taking time away to relax and replenish. Our flexible PTO plan empowers you to decide when you need time away. Rest assured, you can take time off when you need it most.
In addition to the annual 11 paid holidays, Aptevo gives one full week off in December for winter break.
We offer Employee Assistance Programs for mental health and wellness. These programs provide support to employees and their loved ones in a time of need via in-person and virtual sessions with certified counsellors.
Focus on Family
We know you have a life outside of work. We work hard to support you outside of the office. New parents receive 12 weeks of fully paid maternity leave and 6 weeks of fully paid paternity leave. We partner with state leave plans and/or our benefits carrier programs to make sure you receive full pay during your leave. If you want more time to bond, you can take up to 20 weeks of protected leave.
Commuting is Covered
Parking in the city is coveted, and we’ve got your spot already reserved! Aptevo covers downtown parking so you have one less thing to think about driving into the city. Want to ditch the car? We support that by paying for your public transportation costs. We’ve even got a place for you to stash your bicycle. You are completely covered no matter how you travel to work.
